The Flood Warning extended for the Congaree River at Carolina Eastman. * Until late Friday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8 am Monday the stage was 123.8 feet. * Flood stage is 115.0 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river is falling and will continue to fall... going below flood stage by Friday. * At 124.0 feet... extensive flooding occurs at the Carolina Eastman facility with some access roads flooded. Extensive farmland flooding occurs in the area.

The Flood Warning extended for the Congaree River at Sandy Run. * Until Thursday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8 am Monday the stage was 24.6 feet. * Flood stage is 23.0 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 24.7 feet by early this afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage by Wednesday February 10. * At 24.0 feet... several homes in the Sandy Run subdivision along the river become flooded.

The Flood Warning extended for the Congaree River at Columbia. * Until Tuesday evening... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 12 PM Monday the stage was 19.8 feet. * Flood stage is 19.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river fall below flood stage tonight. * At 19.0 feet... extensive swampland and large areas of farmland and pasture land downstream from Columbia become flooded.

The Flood Warning continues for the upper Santee river at trezesvants Landing. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 11 am Monday the stage was 82.5 feet. * Flood stage is 80.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 83.8 feet tomorrow late morning.

Lake Wind Advisory

... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 7 PM Tuesday to 7 PM EST Wednesday...
Low pressure and a cold front will cross the area Tuesday evening. Behind the front winds will quickly increase as the pressure gradient tightens and strong winds aloft mix down to the surface. Winds under 10 knots in the early evening will quickly become 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots by midnight and increase to 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knots Wednesday. Wednesday evening the winds will begin to subside.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
