Flood Warning
Statement as of 11:26 am EST on February 08, 2010

The Flood Warning continues for
the lower Santee river near Jamestown.
* At 10 am Monday the stage was 17.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 17.9 feet by
Thursday early afternoon. Additional rises may be possible
thereafter.
* At 14.2 feet... extensive flooding of swamplands may be expected.
Logging operations and cattle grazing should be moved to higher
ground. River is approximately 9000 feet wide.
